"The Golden Cord" Through every minute of this day, Be with me, Lord! Through every day of all this week, Be with me, Lord! Through every week of all this year, Be with me, Lord! Through all the years of all this life, Be with me, Lord! So shall the days and weeks and years Be threaded on a golden cord, And all draw on with sweet accord Unto Thy fulness, Lord, That so, when time is past, By Grace, I may at last, Be with Thee, Lord. ~Author Unknown~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Little Note from Cobblestone Road Ministries: Psalm 63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. Psalm 107:8-9 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Oh how we need Jesus in every hour, every week, every year-- ALWAYS! When we look to Him, depend upon Him, we get to know Him even more. God is faithful toward us. He always knows what is best. There is never a time in our life where He is not aware of our problem or difficulty. Yet how many times have we felt as if we are bearing a particular burden alone? It is because we are not resting in Him-- looking to Him and casting our every care upon Him. "Lord, I give this burden to you..." but yet after we pray, we sometimes take that same burden back up again. The problems in our life shape our Christian character. Do we rely on the Lord in a trial or do we attempt to solve things ourselves. May we be always dependent upon Him-- for He alone has the mighty power to see us through!
